It’s cute how Shinichi helped the other kids along to figure out the riddle themselves. He’s really good about guiding people and letting them feel proud of themselves for figuring it out. And the kids actually did really well for themselves, they just needed a little push here and there.

...Conan's a hypocrite, he literally can't leave a mystery alone. I can't believe Hakase's aunt is still alive. Ok so aparently Hakase is only 53, he looks so much older than he actually is. lol he went gray early due to the stress of his failed inventions and Shinichi's antics. Yusaku and Shinichi are really alike when it comes to mysteries lol. But who is the theif? The uncle died, had no kids and it's not the aunt, so I wonder who it could be? Maybe the aunt had kids? But if it was one of her kids going through her mailbox surley she'd recognize them, maybe another relative. Or it could be the person who painted the portrait, but I kinda doubt that.

Conan took way to long to figure out that the code is simply a stand in for kana, the little dots for the ten-ten gave it away pretty easily in my opinion.

love how he goes from "we need to leave, a dangerous criminal is still around" to "let's split up and search" just because part of the code was found
